Job Description

We're looking for a highly technical and hands-on Presales Manager with experience in building enterprise business applications (Pricing, CRM or ERP). You will work closely with users to understand requirements, develop technical designs, implement and extend our pricing product, and oversee the full application lifecycle. An ideal candidate demonstrates independence, creativity, initiative, good communication skills and the ability to master a solid understanding of the company's solutions and business goals.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

Strong prior technical, development background in either Services or Engineering – 3+ years of hands on solution design experience; experience developing application on top platforms
Work with product managers and/or customers to understand feature requirements and drive their detailed definition
The candidate should be comfortable with modern web based application technologies and be able to work with and mentor technical team members in this area
Demonstrated experience resolving complex business and application problems; performance analysis a plus

Background:

BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
3+ years experience in the software industry
Very high technical competence, individual technical accomplishments, and strong academic record. (Experience with Java technologies is a plus)
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work well within a start-up environment and to provide hands-on management
Ability to establish credibility with sales and customers quickly
Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment. Demonstrates expertise in problem solving and technical innovation
Ability to present effectively both verbally and written across functions and build relationships
