BPM Forum, CMO Council seek participants for study of marketing operations effectiveness in global technology companies

July 25, 2005 - Parsippany, NJ - The Business Performance Management (BPM) Forum and the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Council are conducting a study of marketing operations effectiveness of global brand leaders in the technology sector. The three-month project will assess how well product marketers are equipped to make informed decisions that:

  • maximize the value and longevity of products.
  • optimize the product mix.
  • drive both top-line and bottom line performance.

The study will focus on effectiveness of current intelligence systems, forecasting capabilities and pricing strategies. It will explore how product marketing teams plan, predict, monitor performance and react to market dynamics; and how they use data to allocate marketing spend and resources.

The study includes qualitative dialogs and quantitative assessments. Study participants will receive valuable insights, perspectives, and best-practice methodologies for optimizing product marketing performance.
