Job Description:
Vistaar is looking for a highly technical and hands-on Presales Consultant with experience with enterprise business applications (Pricing, CRM or ERP). You will work closely with the sales team to create and execute account strategy, and interact with prospects to understand their needs and to configure and present relevant solution demos using the Vistaar solution platform. The ideal candidate will demonstrate independence, creativity, initiative, thinking on your feet, good communication skills and an ability to articulate solution value to prospects.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Participate in the sales process from the first call through to close of business, including presentations, customer demonstration; assume technical ownership of the sales cycle
- Understand the implications of a prospects organization relative to business processes; capture business requirements & technical requirements
- Analyze ambiguous and complex technical environments and business drivers to map and develop solutions
- Response to RFPs/RFIs
- Demonstrate Vistaar software in the context of client’s requirements and value proposition
- Keep up with industry trends and best practices
Desired Skills & Experience:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years experience in a presales/consulting environment preferable with enterprise software companies
- High technical competence, individual technical accomplishments, and strong academic record
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work well within a growth environment and to provide hands-on management
- Ability to lead brainstorming and interactive sessions with a wide audience of senior decision makers from sales and marketing
- Familiarity with price execution, forecasting and optimization, OLAP, data warehouse and business intelligence
- Comfort in sales environments and executive presentations
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written across functions and build
